The USS Alexandria, NX-92812-C, was a modified Nova-class experimental science ship under the command of then Lieutenant Commander Praeclare Audax. It was outfitted with classified experimental electronic warfare equipment from Starfleet Intelligence and the Alpha Centauri Institute R&D Department.
In late 2410, while escorting a medical convoy, the Alexandria engaged a Borg cube allowing the convoy to scatter and escape unharmed but the Alexandria was destroyed. Most of her crew were lost but their heroic actions prevented classified information and technology from being assimilated by the Collective.
