Born in Calgary, AB, Jacob comes from a long lineage of Star Fleet officers. Like his forefathers he joined as a cadet at a very early age and was eager to follow in his father's footsteps. Kincaid was mostly quiet, reserved and focused on his studies. Mechanically inclined, Jake fit the role of an Engineering Officer like a glove. Dreaming of more than just the quiet life he joined Star Fleet at an early age.
Because of his tendancy to work hard at his career, it wasn't long before Jacob reached the rank of Lieutenant secured an engineering position on his first Light Cruiser, the U.S.S. Prospect. From there he served for several months and quickly exceeded his captains expectations. He was given a promotion and transferred to the newly branded U.S.S. Sentinel under Captain Jagard. He served with Jagard for several weeks before he retired. In honor of his previous Captain, Kincaid took his first command aboard the newly fitted USS Prospect-A after the previous cruiser was decommissioned. Following severl tours of duty aboard the Prospect-A, Kincaid transferred his command over to his first Exploration Class Cruiser, the Harbinger.
Kincaid continues to strive toward excellent service.
